In Europe, the A3 will initially be launched in two engine/transmission versions. The 35 TFSI1 2 with a 1.5-liter engine has an output of 110 kW (150 PS) and is available as an automatic version with seven-speed S tronic and mild hybrid technology. The diesel engine is a 35 TDI3 4 with 110 kW (150 PS) and a seven-speed S tronic. In the second quarter of 2024, more gasoline and diesel engines will follow. A plug-in hybrid model will be added to the range near the end of the year.

The A3 Sportback and A3 Sedan, which roll off the line at the Audi’s plant in Ingolstadt, will be available to order from March. In Germany, the Sportback with 35 TFSI S tronic1 is available from 35,650 euros. The additional charge for the Sedan is 800 euros.
