Cette année difficile m'a au moins permis de me pencher sur mes compositions, parmi lesquelles celle-ci a émergé. Cela m'a pris quelques mois pour l'apprivoiser mais à présent je suis plutôt satisfaite du résultat. J'ai voulu faire un morceau ainsi qu'un univers visuel à mon image, mais qui puisse également parler aux autres femmes. J'ai voulu rendre hommage aux femmes à travers le monde, persécutées pour leur désir de vivre, leur intelligence, leur liberté que ce soit dans le passé ou encore au présent. This difficult year allowed me to work on my own music and those last few months I've been focused on this particular song. It was a long process but I can say I'm finally happy with the result. I wanted to put a lot of myself in it while also being able to make other women relate. For me this song is a way of acknowledging women through the ages and cultures as well as celebrating freedom.
