Detectorists Filming Locations - Framlingham, Suffolk - walking tour. McKenzie Crook comedy tv show

Описание к видео Detectorists Filming Locations - Framlingham, Suffolk - walking tour. McKenzie Crook comedy tv show

Detectorists is a charming, British comedy series starring McKenzie Crook and Toby Jones. My film is an affectionate tribute which takes you on a walking tour of some of the locations filmed in the tranquil market town of Framlingham in Suffolk.

The Detectorists is a superb comedy, beautifully written, perfectly cast and acted. Immerse yourself in the world of Lance and Andy and the other members of the DMDC as they search with their metal detectors for treasure, mostly they only find ring-pulls but occasionally they find something special. It is a delightful journey as their various stories gently unfold. My film shows you the Suffolk locations, linked to the scenes in the show with facts and location details. Framlingham was used as a location in all three series. Here are some of the Detectorists’ Framlingham locations you can see:
Two Brewers pub
The DMDC clubhouse
Lance's Flat
St Michael’s churchyard where Sophie meets Peter
The Lemon Tree restaurant where Lance meets his daughter Kate
Lance’s ex-wife’s Crystal Enigma shop
The White Horse pub - Open Mic Night
The alley where Lance and his girlfriend Toni walk after his hypnotherapy session

Framlingham is an ancient market town that dates back to the Doomsday book and is a perfect place to stroll, eat, shop and enjoy it’s historic and detectorists’ locations. Framlingham Castle is also a great place to visit or stroll around the Mere, a large lake with great views of the castle. Framlingham also has a history trail that you can enjoy use this town centre map to guide you round the Framlingham sites and Detectorists’ locations:
