Speed To The West: UK Diesels In 2021

With 2021 now drawn to a close, it can only mean that it's, once again, time for the annual end of year round up videos. In this first of two compilations, we take a look back at the small variety of diesel traction that I managed to film during the year. Notable highlights include some terrific performances from Class 40 No.40106 'Atlantic Conveyor' on the Severn Valley Railway, the brief return of HSTs to my local area, during the great IET drought of '21, along with the awesome sight and sound of a pair of Class 40s thundering through the West Country back in October.

Filmed on a Panasonic HC-X1500 with an Audio-Technica BP4025 microphone.
