I don't recommend this product, mostly because it is over-priced. For only $10 more, you can buy a LiIon battery with charger that will last longer and work better: https://amzn.to/3OuPwYG

The battery fits my 18V Porter Cable tools and runs them properly. The very front of the rails are "straight" and so you need to carefully line them up with the tool before you slide the tool over the battery. If you do, it fits perfectly. However, to make it easier to install, if you have a flat file, you can file the beginning of the grooves down with a small 45 degree chamfer, and that makes it MUCH easier to get the battery started on the tool.

This battery ran my circular saw (no load) for 26 minutes straight. When I re-charged it, it took 50 watt hours to re-charge, which is less than the claimed 68 watt hour capacity (so it may be a 3 amp hour battery instead of the claimed 3.6 amp hour). But, it does work properly.

My major complaint about this particular offering is that the price is expensive, and I've seen lithium ion replacement batteries for a similar price which are lighter in weight and last longer. [Of course, you also need to upgrade your charger to one that supports LiIon cells....]

[I've seen this same battery for sale for $20 from other sellers....which is a much more reasonable price.]
