This training collar for large dogs comes with a rechargeable remote, charging cable and plug, plastic key to change tips, and little metal key thing to turn on the collar. Its easy to charge the remote and the collar by pulling back the little rubber stopper and plugging it in. When you turn on the collar device, you use the key thing in the hole next to the charging port. When the light turns red you know your good to go. I like how it is all controlled by the remote so if you choose not to use the shock setting like us you don't have to. When I pushed the beep button for the collar my dog would tilt his head side ways and sit down every time so that was pretty neat.

You can control up to 2 collars per remote so if your training two dogs at once this would be helpful. Its got a very thick collar with a heavy duty latch to keep it secure. You can adjust the size of it to fit your dog so fits just right. The remote has easy control settings so you can adjust the shock and the vibrating. We turned the shock all the way down and left the vibrate at the high level. It did seem to drop signal every now and then but It might be because we used it right out of the box.
