IUC Rules are Temporary, But Family is Forever - Reliance Jio

IUC explained by a college student. Interconnect Usage Charge or IUC is a cost paid by one mobile telecom operator to another when its customers make outgoing mobile calls to the other operator’s customers. IUC charges are fixed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and are currently at 6 paise per minute.

Any recharge made after 10th October you will need another additional IUC top-up. This top-up doesn't have an expiry date and will be added to your regular talk time. It will be deducted at the rate of 6paise/min whenever you make calls on other network operators. To compensate these charges, Jio will be offering 1GB data per IUC top-up of worth ₹10. However, Jio to Jio calls as well as landline calls will continue to be free.
