As much as I enjoy building and reviewing Lego sets, I do explore for sets by other companies. In this case Mattel has issued a few new sets under the Brick Shop brand. Mattel was named Mega before for their sets to compete with Lego. This new Cadillac release is a nice looking fun to build 1/32 scale Hypercar to compete in the Speed Chanpions area. The car does not have a minifigure, but what it does have is a duplicate Hot Wheels car in metal to match the model you are building. The set has two sets of wheels and a signature plate made of metal to snap inder the car or use as a keychain. There are many pre-printed bricks in this set as well as a large sticker sheet to customize the Hypercar. The car has opening doors, a flat bottom steering wheel and a large rear spoiler. The car is a great build and has a very nice included manual with details on the car. The set is age rated for 10 plus, has 236 pcs and costs 21.99. The set number is JFR89.
