In the savannahs of South Africa, an inexperienced female caracal struggles to survive by hunting.

After a series of setbacks, unable to feed herself and in constant danger of being eaten by larger predators, she sets off on a long journey southward and discovers the suburbs of Cape Town... with its many opportunities.

Here, her fortunes change: she feeds on rabbits on golf courses, rats in barns and even dog food in suburban gardens... all adventures that testify to the incredible adaptability of these discreet predators.
