We're currently in the process of restoring a 1973 Dodge Charger SE (which I have done a couple other videos on) at Rocket Restorations. While the car will be almost entirely stock appearing, the owner opted to crank the factory 400 engine up a bit in the interest of some extra muscle and tire frying fun. On today's episode, we take a look at the stroker combination we've settled on to achieve the goals of this build - make all the torque and a respectable amount of horsepower, while retaining a usable street gear and torque converter combination. This is not a 100% full steam ahead performance build, but instead an exercise in building a really, really stout and reliable street performer with some of the best parts available - aluminum heads, roller cam/lifters and rockers, and compact Icon floating pistons, to name a few. ‪@rocketresto‬
