ULTRALIGHT Jon Boat Framing {Jon Boat Casting Deck} Jon Boat to Bass Boat Conversion Alumacraft 1232

IT'S FRAMING DAY!!! Welcome aboard a new jon boat to bass boat conversion. Today is all about framing out the front deck of an Alumacraft 1232 jon boat. In this video I'll be leveling, taking measurements and framing the front deck. This will be a super light conversion since the base of this boat is only 32 inches wide. So careful material choice and installation is key to keeping this boat as light as possible. This jon boat framing will be done with 1/16" angled aluminum, secured with a combination countersunk rivets and blind pop rivets.
