BUILDING A FUTURE-PROOF MOBILE TESTING STRATEGY: AUTOMATION, EFFICIENCY, AND ACCELERATED RELEASES

Mobile app releases are inherently complex, with dependencies on App Store and Play Store approvals. These challenges make it critical to ensure apps are thoroughly tested and defect-free before submission. Over the past year, I led the App Tribe team in designing and executing a Quality Engineering (QE) vision, driving improvements across functional, integration, and performance testing pillars. We conducted a comprehensive evaluation of mobile automation tools to establish a long-term, sustainable automation strategy. By leveraging industry-leading tools, my team achieved full E2E automation coverage for core journeys, significantly reduced manual regression effort, and accelerated feature releases for customers.

This session will delve into our hands-on experience building a robust testing ecosystem.
