What is chronic pain?

Chronic pain is defined as an intense and persistent pain that lasts for more than three months. Living with chronic pain is complex—but you don’t have to face it alone. At Mary Free Bed, our Outpatient Pain Program takes a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to treatment.

When Valeree Kadrovach came to Mary Free Bed, she had been in and out of physical therapy programs for twenty years. During her time at the Outpatient Chronic Pain Program, Valeree worked together with a coordinated team of experts in psychology, physical therapy and occupational therapy to find exercises and coping strategies that fit within her daily life. Now, Valeree’s back at her favorite summer music festival, all because she asked for Mary.
