1954 Kaiser Darrin | Rare Roadster | Somernites Cruise

Buckle Up! We’re heading to the Bluegrass State for an event that packs in the classics all summer long; Somerset, KY’s Somernite’s Cruise. We expected to see some sweet rides, but Dennis was totally caught off guard by the immaculate 1954 Kaiser Darrin parked in front of the town square. From the unique fiberglass body lines to the factory Pine Tint color, this American roadster has been turning heads since its debut. But first, Zemi is a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr Custom with a constant crowd around it. Boasting a powerful 426 Hemi V8, this candy green Street Rod sets the stage perfectly for this fun-filled show. Then we head over to a classic International pickup truck towering over the Kentucky crowd. Powered by a massive 304 cu. In. V8 International Harvester engine, this 1967 Travelette 1100 is a pretty rare find. Especially in this condition. Another one you just don’t see every day is a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 4-Door Convertible! This custom created family-sized roadster looks like it could have rolled straight out of the factory in the 50’s. Combined with its powerful Turbo 350 engine, what better way to head out on a summer night cruise? Well, maybe a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible would be just as nice. The one Dennis found here in Somerset is almost completely original, and so is its factory 383 2-Barrel motor.
