OXFORD ISLAND NATURE RESERVE AND VISITORS CENTER COUNTY ARMAGH NORTHERN IRELAND LIES ON THE SHORE OF KINNEGO BAY.
THE BAY WAS FORMED WITH ARTIFICIAL WALLS TO PREVENT STORMY WAVE CONDITIONS FROM HIGH WINDS. OXFORD ISLAND NATURE RESERVE  AND VISITORS CENTER COUNTY ARMAGH NORTHERN IRELAND.
THE VISITORS CENTER IS SET ON THE SOUTH-EASTERN SHORE OF LOUGH NEAGH AND THE SHORE OF KINNEGO BAY.
THERE ARE MANY NATURE TRAILS, HIDES AND BUSHCRAFT ACTIVITIES AND LARGE KIDDIE PLAYGROUND
LOUGH NEAGH IS THE LARGEST LAKE IN IRELAND AND THE UNITED KINGDOM, WITH A SURFACE AREA OF 151 SQUARE MILES OR 392 SQUARE KILOMETERS.
THE LOUGH IS SUPPLIED BY TWO MAIN RIVERS THE RIVER BLACKWATER AND THE UPPER RIVER BANN.
LOUGH NEAGH HOLDS 1760 sq mo OR 4550 km2 AND MAXIMUM DEEP OF 82 ft OR 25m.
KINNEGO MARINA ESTABLISHED IN 1877 AND IS THE LARGEST MARINE ON LOUGH NEAGH. ITS ALSO THE HOME OF THE LOUGH NEAGH SAILING CLUB. KINNEGO BAY LIED BETWEEN LOUGH NEAGH AND KINNEGO MARINA.
