Description - Running between the towns of Gombak in Selangor to the southwest and Karak in Pahang to the northeast, the KL-Karak Expressway is a 60km interstate controlled-access highway in Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway was previously a single-carriageway trunk road that formed part of Federal Route 2 (FT2). Officially opened to traffic since 1977, it shares the same route code with the East Coast Expressway proper that succeeds it, which is E8.
