Hezbollah Rocket Attack Escalates Tensions On Israel-Lebanon Border Amid Heavy Strikes |Sirens Blare

Sirens sounded in northern Israel near the Lebanon border on September 24 morning during a Hezbollah rocket attack. Israeli police received reports of falling shrapnel from rockets intercepted in the cities of Kiryat Shmona and Afula. No injuries were reported. Israel retaliated by striking Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, while the Iran-backed group attacked military facilities in northern Israel. This escalation raised concerns of a full-blown conflict, especially after Lebanon experienced its deadliest day in decades. Israel's military targeted numerous Hezbollah sites overnight, following airstrikes that Lebanese authorities claimed killed nearly 500 people and displaced tens of thousands. Hezbollah stated that it targeted Israeli military locations, including an explosives factory 60 km into Israel, using Fadi rockets around 4 a.m. It also attacked the Megiddo airfield near Afula three times overnight.
