As part of my 7-day Social Internship, I conducted a field study across multiple villages surrounding Mangalagiri, exploring the dynamics and disparities in the rural-urban education landscape.

The primary objective was to understand real-time challenges faced by students and schools in rural areas—from limited infrastructure and digital access to the lack of career awareness and mentorship. My observations highlighted a significant gap: while many students are enthusiastic and ambitious, they often lack the guidance and exposure necessary to make informed decisions about their futures.

Through structured visits, student interactions, and community observations, I gained valuable insights into:
✔ The disconnect between school education and real-world applicability
✔ Absence of career counseling or long-term academic guidance
✔ Underutilized resources in some regions and complete lack in others

This experience reinforced the importance of information equity in education. It is not just about building schools—it’s about building understanding, purpose, and confidence in students, especially in underserved communities.
