When you "work" a math problem, or "simplify" as mathematicians say, there's a certain order you follow and it isn't left to right. It's known as the "order of operations". Turns out, even if you've learned this concept before, you might be in trouble. Were you taught that the order of operations is best summarized by "PEMDAS" or "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally"? Then you NEED A BETTER WAY! That method has a few flaws that result in serious errors.
