This is the MARS MOD for the Yaesu FTDX101MP/D

Amateur radios Are not permitted to transmit on any frequencies that are not amateur radio allocated frequencies by the FCC.
Unless, of course, there is a life and limb emergency situation at hand. When the emergency is over, the operator must conform to the FCC regulations. 

1) Take the top cover off- all black screws.

2) Take the inside top cover off- all Chrome screws.

3) Heat the soldiering iron/wand up to 600.

4) Look for K55 in front of the heatsink. Second from the left, Back row.

5) Soldier the two little Points together that are K55.

6) Put an appropriate antenna for 11 meters on any of the ant ports on the back.

7) Turn on the transceiver.

8) Press the Function Key and go into Extension Setting- Bottom left of the screen.

9) Find (RESET) on the bottom of this list and press it. Find (ALL RESET) and press DONE.

10) Your done for the setup. Now Check your Work- Go to 11 meters, Engage your dummy load like I did,
and press either MOX or PTT on the mic. You should have 11 meters transmit. N8XLQ
