Does John 6 Teach that Jesus is Really Present in the Eucharist?

One of the most significant passages that separates Christians is John 6. Catholics and Protestants have been fighting over it for years, and interpretations of the Lord's Supper are what initially split the Protestant Reformers apart. For many, John 6 is crystal clear: we must eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus. The way we do this is through communion. Thus, we have the doctrines of Real Presence and Transubstantiation. However, many Protestants, following in the footsteps of Swiss Reformer Ulrich Zwingli have claimed that Jesus the bread and wine in communion are mere symbols and that Jesus is speaking metaphorically when he says that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood. This is a long lasting debate that isn't likely to end soon. However, in this video I do my best to parse through the teachings of John 6 and see what the implications are for our doctrine of the Lord's Supper.
