Shame Is The Name is a song by Morrissey. It was written and composed by Morrissey and Alain Whyte, The song was first released as the B-side to the single I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris in February 2009. It was produced by Jerry Finn and features Chrissie Hynde on backing vocals. The opening sample is from the film The 400 Blows (1959).

This video is made using clips taken (mostly) from the first series of the British version of Shameless. Shameless is a comedy-drama television programme created and executive produced by Paul Abbott. Set in Manchester on the fictional Chatsworth council estate, the show revolves around the dysfunctional working-class Gallagher family (Frank, Fiona, Lip, Ian, Carl, Debbie, and Liam), depicting and commenting on English working-class life and culture.
