Rice: 1kg
Cloves: 7-8 pcs
Green cardamoms : 7-8
Lemon slices: 3
Water for boiling

Granulated Sugar: 850 g
Ghee: 1 cup
Milk: 1/2 cup
Water: 1/2 cup (i used 1 cup milk rather milk)
Khoya : 1 cup
Tutti fruitti / asrafiyan: 1/2 cup
Yellow, Red , Green food colouring
Chum chum : 1/2 kg


Ghee: 1/4 cup
Almond: 1/2 cup
Munaqa / raisins: 1/2 cup
Coconut slices: 1/2 cup
Pistachios: 1/2 cup
Cashews: 1/2 cup

Add green cardamoms, cloves and lemon slices in a big pot of water and bring to boil. Add washed and soaked rice and boil completely.
In a pan add 1/4 cup of ghee and pistachios, cashew, coconut slices, raisins, blanched almond and fry for 2/3 minutes. Take out and set aside.

In a big pot, add ghee, sugar , milk & water. Cook until sugar is fully dissolved.
Add boiled rice , half fried nuts and half of khoya. Cook until water is almost dries up.
Drizzle food colour, add tutti fruitti, khoya, and nuts on top.
Cover and steam for 20 minutes on medium flame.
Remove the lid. Mix and serve.
Add chum chum while serving. Enjoy!
