I presented this year at the 25th International Passive House Conference #25intPHC in Wuppertal, Germany.

The session was on a personal journey from a client to a #CPHD. Eight years after moving into our new 'Passive House", I started my education as a Passive House Designer, and a process of certifying our home as a Passive House. The journey ended well, with a certification of our home as Passive House Plus, obtaining my CPHD in the process, and starting a new career to boot.
Throughout the story, I shared the reasons and motivations to certify to PHI standard, trials and tribulations of doing it yourself, and climbing a pretty steep learning curve. It serves to help all of those sitting on the sidelines and wondering whether to build and certify a Passive House project. I say - jump! It is well worth it.
