I'm a little late posting this video I recorded from the evening of July 27th, 2024. My migraines took over for a few days 😵‍💫 My heart goes out to anyone that deals with those too! Boo! OK back to my favorite eagles...

In this video clip, one of the eagles can be seen perched in their Roost tree but then they fly off. Roughly 15 minutes later Jackie comes flying in, carrying a stick delivery with Shadow on her tail just seconds later. I love their tandem stick deliveries. It's almost as if they planned the task together and then race each other back. Sorry ShadMan, Jackie wins this one!🏁🚦🦅🦅

They both work on moving the sticks around and Shadow made sure to put his extra touch on many of them since he is just a tiny bit obsessed with micromanaging the furniture arrangements. Jackie isn't as particular and allows him to do his thing most of the time. Sometimes perching on the porch giving him the side eye. This time Jackie heads out to claim her spot for the night on their favorite Roost tree. Shadow stays just a bit longer and then joins his lady.

The past few days, they have been spending their days out of camera views except on their Roost tree some of those nights. It's been quite warm so they've likely been staying near the water and hanging out in shady areas. Lots of feather molting going on this time of year so that help keep them a bit cooler as well.

We will see them around a lot more frequently in the Fall as they prepare for next Winter's nesting season. ❤️🦅🦅
