Some days don’t feel like events.They feel like awakenings.

This vlog captures Day 1 of Tanweer Festival, deep in the UAE desert… A place where art, music, poetry, silence, and people from across the world came together under one sky. This was my first-ever YouTube vlog, and I couldn’t have asked for a more overwhelming, humbling beginning.

The day unfolded slowly, beautifully.
It began with sound healing by Marko inside the Dome- vibrations, breath, and stillness setting the tone for what was to come. As the sun climbed higher, the festival opened into conversations and craft at Authentica Marketplace, followed by a soulful pottery workshop with Eman Al Shamsi, where hands met earth and time seemed to pause.

Afternoon flowed into musical poetry with Nancy Zabaneh & Sandu at the Nourish Area… words, notes, and emotions blending effortlessly in the open air.
As dusk arrived, the desert transformed.

El Amir performed at the Tree of Life as the sky softened, leading into the powerful rhythms of Heritage Band
Al Nadba on the Main Stage.
The evening reached a defining moment with H.H. Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi’s opening speech, followed by a breathtaking calligraphy lighting ceremony by Alif Motion Artist Julien Breton.. art literally written in light.

The night rose higher with Aya Khalaf, and finally, the desert stood still as A.R. Rahman took the stage… music echoing across sand dunes, stars, and silence.

A concert, a collective moment of surrender.

This vlog is not just a recap.It’s a feeling.A memory.A beginning.
