A new year means new adventures for Built2Wander. For our first outing of 2021, we head to the Pacific Northwest to do some snow wheeling with members of the Bos Racing Ultra4 Team in their home state of Washington. We tag along with three very different Jeeps with one thing in common – all of them are rolling on 40” Nitto Trail Grapplers tires.

Follow along as we head to the Cascade Mountains in the Pacific Northwest for a full day off-road in the snow! We highlight the types of trails you can hit in the winter time and provide an overview of critical gear to have on hand to make for a successful adventure and be prepared for the worst-case scenario. We always recommend bringing at least one friend and heading out with at least one additional vehicle while going off-road in the snow given how quickly conditions can change. We also discuss ways to provide more traction, such as airing down your tires to provide more surface area to expand your tire’s contact patch with the snow. Lastly, we provide some best practices and helpful etiquette, such as staying on trails, to help make for the best experience possible.

Tune in to see our crew of two Jeep Wranglers and a Jeep Gladiator tackle the snow covered trails with confidence. Not only is snow wheeling generally extremely scenic, it can be a fun way to pass the time while you wait for those warm summer months to approach. We prove that with the right preparation, snow wheeling can be a fun and safe adventure in a Jeep.
