Demonstration of a 0.8% (w/v) Agarose gel loading with ladder, uncut plasmid & restriction enzyme cut plasmid. Demonstration starts at the powered Agarose and end with a labelled figure for publication.

0.8% (w/v) Agarose Gel
0.8 Agarose in 100 mL 1X TAE Buffer
Microwave for 2 min (until just starts to boil) @ 70% power
Addition of 5 uL Red Safe
Pour when you can hold it in your hand
Fill chamber with 1X TAE Buffer

Wells were loaded from left to right by:
1 Kb ladder
Uncut Plasmid DNA (pUC:URA)
EcoRI cut Plasmid DNA
HindIII cut Plasmid DNA
HindIII + EcoRI cut Plasmid DNA

Red Safe used for viewing
