Spark It Like A Taara | Lashkara 10.0 | '20 - '21

The University of California, Davis’ Hindi Film Dance Team, Lashkara, meaning the spark of light, is an intercollegiate competitive group that strongly values leadership, responsibility, and excellence both academically and on stage. Lashkara was started ten years ago, with the goals of creating lasting friendships, improving the dance skills of each team member, and maintaining a strong sense of South Asian pride on campus. Our performances incorporate latin, contemporary, hip-hop, Indian classical dance styles, and energetic Bollywood choreography.
