Скачать или смотреть ROAD TRIP! We tackle the Tern Hill Hall CLASSIC CAR TOUR 2025

In June 2025 we entered the first ever Tern Hill Hall Classic Car Tour, a 120+ mile road run around the Shropshire countryside for classic cars and later "modern classic/youngtimer" cars.
This was our first attempt at any such classic car road tour, directions were presented in tulip diagram format in an immaculately-presented route book. Neither Harley nor I had any experience of road tours or tulip diagrams, fortunately most of the other entrants I spoke to were in a similar position so it was a voyage of discovery for many of us in more ways than one. We needn't have worried, it was all pretty self-explanatory and Harley was soon juggling directions, the rally trip app on his phone, and of course the camera while I did my best to follow instructions.
Tern Hill Hall regularly hosts classic car evening meetings and several have featured on our channels already, hopefully the idea of also running a classic car tour will catch on and happen again, perhaps in 2026? Keep an eye on the Tern Hill Hall Facebook page for details of future meets and - if this happens again - tours. It was a lot of fun.
This video describes our day, from first arrival and a welcome coffee/bacon butty combo, inspection of the route book, and setting off down the scenic and twisty back lanes of Shropshire, avoiding for the most part main roads in the process.
We were in the MX-5 (there were two others), other cars entered included BMW E30, Triumph TR4 and TR6, Alvis 12/50, Willys Jeep, Jaguar 240, Jensen Interceptor, Stags, Jaguar XJ6, Austin-Healey 3000, BMW Z3, Vitesse convertible and more. Quite the variety of classic cars and later machines!
