Luxembourg National Day!

The National Day in Luxembourg was meant to celebrate Grand-Dukes birthday, which started once with the birthday of Grand Duchess Charlotte, which is on June 23rd. A grand duke traditionally ranks in order of precedence below an emperor, king or archduke and above a sovereign prince or sovereign duke.The celebrations & festivities all over the Grand-Duchy Luxembourg starts on the EVE of National day of 22nd June every year. Luxembourg City starts the celebrations on 22nd and in the evening a torchlight procession takes place throughout the capital city. They celebrates this occasion with huge open-air party, free concerts, DJ's and dance floors all over the Luxembourg. They also sell the foods & drinks such as sausages, potato fritters, wine, beer and so on. Later at night, The fireworks will be launched from the Adolphe bridge.

I covered the full festival because this is my first time to see how the Luxembourgish people celebrates their National day. I really enjoyed in this festival and I hope you also join me next year here in Luxembourg.
