WOMAN SENTENCED for VIOLENT HIT and RUN

A woman who hit and nearly killed a bicyclist more than two years ago in Avon Lake hears her fate in the courtroom.

Allison Spoerl is being sentenced for the hit and run crash that left Patty Banks critically injured. She faces prison time after pleading guilty to felony charges of tampering with evidence and hit and run, along with multiple misdemeanors.
