This isn't just any classic; it's one of only 53 C-Types ever built, and incredibly, it retains its original chassis, engine, body, and gearbox – a rare feat for a car from this era!

The C-Type itself is a revolutionary race car that famously won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1951 and 1953. This particular example, XKC 028, was delivered new as a road-going car, which helped preserve its remarkable originality. Its exceptional authenticity and documented history make it a prized piece of automotive history. Seeing this beautiful machine up close was a real treat!

And the second incredible car I saw was this breathtaking 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France Berlinetta, with its exquisite coachwork by Scaglietti! This particular car, Chassis No. 0925GT (matching Engine No. 0925GT), is a truly special example.

The Ferrari 250 GT "Tour de France" (TdF) earned its legendary name by dominating the grueling multi-day Tour de France endurance rally in the late 1950s, showcasing Ferrari's prowess in building cars that excelled both on the road and track. Only a limited number of these beautiful Berlinettas were built, making them incredibly rare.
