Indians buy gold as an investment and not just as accessories. So to ensure customer retention & providing better quality gold Tanishq started selling 18-karat gold and introduced Karatmeter in every outlet.

If the quality is less than that claimed by Tanishq, it would give the customers an upgrade just by taking the making charges!

Well, adopting this strategy made Tanishq one of the fastest-growing brands!
