'I Didn't Know What Time It Was' was written in 1939 for the musical 'Too Many Girls', with early hit recordings by Benny Goodman and Jimmy Dorsey. It was first sung by Richard Kollmar and Marcy Westcott, but it became a jazz standard after the tune was included in the 1957 Frank Sinatra film 'Pal Joey'.

It has also been recorded by Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Betty Carter, Shirley Horn, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Barbra Streisand, and many others. I hope you enjoy it!
