7 Easy Steps:
1) Put your bike in 1st gear
2) Get off your bike
3) Power Off your bike
4) Power on your bike, then immediately press and hold iWoc UP button for 6-10 seconds until the LIGHTS GOES OUT then let go of button!
5) The lights is now flashing Blue and Green. Quickly Tap the MIDDLE power button (do not hold)
6) The lights will FLASH GREEN 8x, then will return to solid white (if you are fully charged. It may return to the power charge color (white, amber, or red) depending on your charge.
7) Power Cycle your bike (Turn it off, then turn it on again).

I have a 2019 Rocky Mountain Altitude PowerPlay Carbon 90 Rally Edition, but this tutorial will work on the PowerPlay Instinct, PowerPlay Altitude, and PowerPlay Growler... that have the iWoc 3.0 controller, including the 2020 models.

Rocky Mountain suggests that you "periodically" reset or recalibrate the torque sensor. I don't know when or why this is needed. It has only happened to me once. I was 20 miles out on the trail and had the directions in my phone "just in case" I needed it one day. That day came!

Why This Happens
For me, I'm not sure why I lost torque on my Rocky Mountain PowerPlay. The iWoc controller lights were on, but I was not getting in torque from the motor and figured it was the torque sensor. I know that I was switching between the ebikemotion app and MTB Trails app, as well as Strava app and the Relive app. My assumption is that switching between the apps while trying to gain my bearing on the map somehow messed with the calibration of the bike. I don't know exactly. I can only tell you what happened to me at the time I lose power on the trail. Of course I freaked out and did not want to tell my mates that I would be the last one to return back and to go have fun without me. Fortunately I was able to quickly resolve the issue in under 1 minute!
