Tauchwochenende Traunkirchen 2011

Описание к видео Tauchwochenende Traunkirchen 2011

Diving in lake Traunsee in Oberösterreich over the long weekend September/October 2011. Above surface we enjoyed unusual (for this time of year) beautiful sunny weather with around 25°C. Water was around 8°C in 25 meters, with varying viewing conditions.

However, both Hexenwand rock drop-off and the big swarms of fish in swallow water were great experiences.

Remember to dive with two independent first stages, and make sure that your configuration of your second stages, drysuit, and jacket are properly distributed across your two first stages. Your life depends on proper configuration.

Our thanks also to the very kind dive-base boss Jochen. And of course to Sabine and my buddies Uli and Volker.

Footage was shot using a GoPro HD Hero action cam with a modified lens suitable for under water conditions (sub zero/Stefan Wiessmeier). I was wearing the cam on my head, thus the footage is somewhat shaky.
