Скачать или смотреть DIY Robotic Eye | Making Robotic/Animatronic Eye With Arduino & Servo Motors

This is a robotic eye. It can open and close its eyelid and also move its eyeball. Both the eyelid & eyeball are powered by a servo motor and controller by Arduino uno prototyping board.

This is the circuit schematic. Here we can see Arduino uno and 2 servo motors connected to it. This is how we are going to connect these components together to form a robotic eye. Here we have a servo motor that rotates its horn vertically from 110 degrees to 140 degrees. The eyelid will be attached to it. It will open and close the eyelid. This is the second servo, it rotates its horn horizontally. The eyeball will be attached to it. It will move the eyeball. Here you can see, we have attached a ball to the servo motor. This ball is the eyeball of our eye. It is moving left to right and back. Now we have attached the top eyelid to the servo motor. This motor opens and shuts the lid. The bottom lid is also attached. The bottom lid is stationary or static. It will not move but it will keep the eyeball covered. This is how the whole setup looks like from front & back. This is how our robotic eye will see the world. this view is from the robot's perspective. This is what our final robotic eye will look like. It has an operable eyelid and an eyeball, which is also moving simultaneously similar to any animal's eye. This project has many applications & scope for upgradation. A camera can be mounted instead of an eyeball. The whole structure can be made out of plastic to make it rigid & aesthetically good.
