India's new parliament building was built nearly a century after work began to build the original parliament building in Delhi. The new structure, built at a cost of Rs. 971 crore, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, boasts several new features including increased seating capacity, more spacious rooms, and better technological incorporation.
