In the pursuit of its long-term objective of increasing manufacturing of solar electric vehicles, Aptera Motors has received a substantial investment from Korean manufacturer CTNS and established a tier-1 battery supply agreement.
Aptera Releases NEW UPDATES On Production Progress.
The battery technology company and Aptera Motors inked a master supply arrangement on December 22, as stated in a LinkedIn post by CTNS chief strategy officer Junmo Kim. A multi-million dollar investment transaction in Aptera was signed during the visit of Aptera cofounder Chris Anthony to CTNS' Seoul headquarters. Under the terms of the two deals, CTNS will construct the assembly lines for Aptera's batteries and serve as a Tier 1 supplier for PV EV battery packs. Kim claims that the total contract value is more than $15 million.
