How To Plant Cauliflower | Hayes Garden World

This video shows you how to plant cauliflowers and also to try and ward off the dreaded club root. Adding lime before you plant will help with this. Also vegetables perform better in an alkaline soil. In the UK cauliflowers are better planted in summer so that they mature when the weather is a bit cooler in autumn as they tend to bolt when they are maturing in summer. They need to be kept well watered as being dry can also lead to the heads bolting.
