Introduce our latest series 'Made In Globe'. Aiming to be more international, Made In London team started their exploration of the world from the famous capital city in the ancient Ottoman-era - Istanbul.

One month of preparation, two weeks of discovery in Istanbul, one day of filming. The Made In London team lead by our project manager Angella Davenport has come to reach this rich and exotic land, reveal the story behind the ancient wall of the Ottoman Palace and inside the palace kitchen.

Met up with Mr Batur, the owner of the Asitane Restaurant who has turned his place into a bridge between the past and present, by continuously digging into those Ottoman Palace archives to look for more lost treasures in the past. Introduced to us one of the classic Ottoman Palace dishes - Uskumru Dolmasi (1844), Mr. Batur also mentioned how Turkish people value the fresh ingredients, and in their beliefs, each ingredient has its best season, and for the best taste, we should wait patiently. He also believes that the good food is an art, and a good art shall be timeless!
