Visiting Chopta Mini Switzerland of India & Dhari Devi Temple Srinagar | Haridwar to Tungnath Temple

This video Shows my Journey from Haridwar to Tungnath Mahadev Temple Trek and on the Way covers Srinagar's Dhari Devi Temple and the Camping at Chopta Valley.

Chopta is also called the Mini Switzerland of India. Chopta is at the epicentre of the Panch Kedar – the five most sacred Shiva temples in the state. On its left are located Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar shrines and on the right, Rudranath and Kalpeshwar, and just above it, the Tungnath temple.

A revered temple, it is dedicated to Dhari Devi (a form of Goddess Kali), who is considered to be the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is worshipped as the protector of the Char Dhams. The temple is located between Srinagar and Rudraprayag on the banks of River Alaknanda and can be reached by a one-km cement pathway.
