A 50-minute documentary about the blessed Elder Joseph of Vatopedi (1921-2009).

An attempt is made to describe the long-suffering life of the bessed Elder Joseph of Vatopedi and to capture the personality, of a monk who was a disciple of Saint Joseph the Hesychast and lived the ascetic monastic life for 72 years.

With numerous events, testimonies and documents that shed light on many aspects of the spiritual path of one of the holy figures of Mount Athos of our time, whose life was full of ascetic struggles, self-denial and patience, but above all immeasurable evangelical love.

At the same time, original unpublished references are presented about persons who marked the life of the Elder, such as Saint Joseph the Hesychast, Saint Ephraim of Katounakia, Saint Paisios the Athonite, and others.
