They keep talking about "Africa unity" since the 1950s, yet the continent of Africa is still struggling to achieve that elusive dream of "unity" among African states. As the Internet/social media has triggered the age of globalization in which international borders have become relatively porous, many African countries still require that visitors/businesspeople from other sister African states need to have entry visas. Where lies the so-called African unity? European Union citizens don't need entry visa to enter any of the EU member states. Why can't African Union (AU) do the same? Only talk, talk.
