The Tampa Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured on Friday night.

Officers heard shots fired in the area of 2201 East Osborne Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. and found a man injured. He was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.

Two people are dead after a shooting Friday afternoon in New Tampa.

It happened just after 2:30 p.m. on New Tampa Boulevard near Timber Reach Road.

Police say they arrived to find an adult man with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.
