The chess coach who never takes a day off! - N. Ramaraju, the coach of Harika

N. Ramaraju began his chess coaching career around 25 years ago when he decided to train 8-year-old D. Harika. There was something in her that made him believe that she could be a world class player. At the same time his unfulfilled dream to be a top player was a major motivator for Ramaraju to become a dedicated trainer. We all know where Harika has reached today and until now all the top players of Telangana have at some point or the other worked with him. This includes Arjun Erigaisi, Raja RIthvik, Prraneeth Vuppala and his very own nephew Harsha Bharathakoti. With steadfast dedication of not just his own, but his entire family N. Ramaraju has created the RACE - Ramaraju Academy of Chess Excellence. And in this video you get a tour of this structure as well as his personal life.
