We are on the 7 Train at Willets Point, as we get on a Manhattan-bound train. As soon as the doors close, a person at the other end of the car decides to strip and put his pants in his backpack. As we proceed down the line, this person gets off at the next stop, which is 111th Street. Since this guy seemed to have had so much fun taking his pants off, I had to try it for myself too. As soon as the doors close on 111th Street, I take my pants off and place them in my backpack. Check out my boxers, which have a lot of googly eyes on them. I proceed to get off at the next stop, which is 103rd Street Corona Plaza. Once on the platform, we see a bunch of other men and women who happen to have stripped. Coincidence? Absolutely. This happens to be the 11th annual No Pants Subway Ride, spearheaded by the awesome people at Improve Everywhere. There were 6 meeting places this year; Astoria, Flushing, Williamsburg, the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, Central Park North, and Foley Square. I was the Second in Command at Flushing.
