Hi all. Here is my return flight video from RIAT2015. Due to flight times and prices London Heathrow was the best option for the flight home. After having a nice meal at the Weatherspoons and being delayed for about 30 to 40 Minutes it was time to broad my third British Airways flight of the year. The flight was fully booked as there was a very noisy school trip group onboard so I am sorry for all the singing in the background during the landing out of my control. Apart from this a nice flight home with British Airways half asleep after a very long day at RIAT 2015. During back you can notice that last patches of daylight starting to fade away before it gets dark. One thing I did notice was only one engine was used for the taxi due to having to wait 10 Minutes before it was time to takeoff as all the Evening Heavies were departing around this time. Many heavies can be spotted including some nice rotation shots of a Virgin Atlantic A330-300 during taxing for departure. As we lined up looking at all the aircraft waiting to depart was a very nice sight, something I always like seeing at London Heathrow. The sound of those IAEs on the Airbuses is brilliant, I do prefer them over the CFMs. During the Rotation you can see all of a very busy T5 as its nearly the end of the day and all the aircraft parked up for the night. After Passing through some clouds you can really see the final bit of daylight left. Included some Inflight shots of what complementary snack I had and of the mood lighting, looking back at the video I realise I forgot to add the text, sorry about this. The Approach was amazing especially seeing all of Glasgow lit up at night as where I was sat you can see the main CBD (Central Business District) and Inner City areas. A very smooth landing then taxi to gate. I was surprised that the gate was not one where the British Airways Airbus shuttles usually park, probably due to the fact there is a lot of Holiday Charter flights over the Summer weekends.
