This was a 6 night hike that turned out to be a lot like 2023’s version, but that didn’t matter to the two new guys. This time it was Wonderdog Bridger’s tender pads that resulted in a change of plans.

Still, we got to the Aero Lakes via “cardiac hill” and most of the group was able to do the stellar descent to Dewey Lake from the Skytop Lakes.

Nobody got dead or injured (the dog is fine) and a good time was had by all. I was pleased that newcomers, John and Ron, were blown away by their first trip to the Beartooths.
